Limited edition print Information
Artist and Printer proofs are sometimes available for sold out editions. Please use the contact page to inquire about available proofs. Please indicate the edition or editions in which you are interested.
Artist proofs are identical to regular edition prints, but they are numbered with AP before the number, and there are typically only a small number of APs made for any edition. Printer proofs are only occasionally made in small number, and are numbered with PP before the number.
We release both limited edition paper prints and limited edition canvas prints throughout the year. The canvas prints are physically larger prints than the paper versions, and are smaller edition sizes. Canvas prints can be stretched over stretcher bars to give the appearance of a real painting on canvas.
Both paper and canvas prints are made with Epson’s archival Ultrachrome inks and should be displayed away from sunlight to ensure longest print life.
ORIGINAL MIXED MEDIA CABINET CARD PAINTINGS
These pieces are original oil and acrylic paintings on antique cabinet card photographs that are approximately 110 - 140 years old. These paintings are archivally framed and matted under UV reflective Plexiglas together with a replica of the before image. New, original cabinet card paintings are released in the store section at artofalexgross.com just a few times per year.

Prison Of The Mind is Alex’s brand new book, published by Gingko Press. Prison Of The Mind is 12.25 x 9.75 inches, contains 120 pages with full color images and many closeup details of most of Alex’s oil paintings over the last decade, along with a large number of Cabinet Card paintings. This Limited Edition comes in a gold foil-stamped, clothbound slipcover case, and contains an original signed and numbered pen drawing on the title page. Examples can be seen below. Each book also comes with a certificate of authenticity. This limited edition is limited to just 50 books. Each original drawing is highly detailed.
Note: When ordering, you may request a specific character for the drawing on your book title page. Alex will do his best to grant most requests, but we cannot guarantee that you'll receive the character that you specify. He will not draw multiple characters. Shopaholics 4 is a small edition of signed and numbered canvas prints, made with the Canon ProGraf iPF9400 large format printer by PixelPoint Artistry, using archival 12-Color LUCIA® EX pigment ink set on Breathing Color Lyve 400gsm Canvas and are painstakingly hand varnished. Shopaholics 4 canvas prints will be shipped rolled in a reinforced shipping tube. Note: Artist Proofs are hand-signed and identical to the regular edition, except they are numbered AP from one to five.
